Hey guys, this is my friend Sam! 

Sam is a single mother of a four year old little boy. She’s a full time student and she also works a part time job. She is the sole provider for her household, which also includes her  grandmother and uncle. 

Sam’s been having a hard time financially dealing with paying her bills, student loans and other expenses on a part time job salary.

Her job is across the city from her school and because she doesn’t have a car, it’s incredibly difficult for her to make the commute. 

For months, she has been saving what she could towards buying a car. However, a couple of weeks ago her hot water heater broke and in order to replace it, she had to gut her savings account. Now she will have to start over again saving for her car. She is particularly upset about this because another half of year of saving and scrimping means that Christmas is going to look really bleak for her son.

I told her about how much tumblr helped me a couple of months ago when I really needed it, and she has set up a paypal account. If you want to, you can go to her tumblr and donate a couple of bucks.

If you can’t she totally understands and she doesn’t expect anybody to go out of their way to help her. But if you could maybe signal boost this, that would be amazing.

Sam has been my friend for years. She’s intelligent, caring, fierce and a hard worker. She’s just had too great of a burden placed on her shoulders.
